Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette - Cruelty Free

Can we just talk about how beautiful this palette is? The packaging is gorgeous and I love the embossed details, it helps to give it a really expensive look and feel. This closes with a magnetic clasp which makes it all a lot easier and sturdy.

The colours inside are amazing theres some more rustic colours which lean towards the burgundy trend happening right now (also let's face it every autumn and winter because they are perfect colours for this time of the year) there are also a huge range of browns, some great pale highlighting and blending colours.

I love the addition of a grey and black as this means you can really get a complete smoky look from this palette. I don't think I will use every paler shade in here, I will probably use a few until the run low and then I will swap shades!  I think commando will become my new transition shade!

All of the shades are matte and they blend nicely. They feel very soft and are really pigmented - what else would you expect from Urban Decay - and while this is a very basic palette I think everyone can use it - theres no scary colours but there is enough in the basics palette to make a range of different looks.

This palette also come with a tiny brush - I usually like the brushes that Urban Decay include in the palette, I always use them and I find the blending brushes to be pretty decent. If you want to watch a swatch video of this palette you can see it here.
